When charging with AC, the maximum power is 11 kW, and when using DC, it increases even to 170 kW. At a fast charging station, it takes about 5 minutes to replenish energy from 80 to 30 percent. Like other models of the ID family, the ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo is built on a platform designed specifically for Electric Vehicles (MEB).

It comes standard with a 10-inch diagonal, while a 2-inch larger version will be offered at an additional cost. Both the clock and the multimedia screen are connected to the dashboard only at the bottom edge, which gives the impression that they are "suspended" in the air. On a personal ID. Buzz will include We Connect, We Connect Plus, App-Connect systems (with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto) and a DAB+ tuner (in ID. Buzz Cargo, the last two items will be available as an option).

Thanks to fast charging technology and power consumption up to 170 kW, the battery can be charged from 5 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.

Thanks to the modern Plug & Charge technology that will be used in the Volkswagen ID. Buzz, it's going to be even easier to charge your batteries. To start charging, it will be enough to connect the cable to one of the charging stations cooperating with Volkswagen. When the car is connected to charging, the car will be “recognized” by the station, and payment will be made, for example, on the basis of the “Charge” agreement, which will eliminate the need for a card and greatly simplify the charging process.
