Ford in the US produced 188,000 more units than the next largest automaker.

2020 was a very bad year for the auto industry, the pandemic greatly affected all automakers, yet Ford managed to assemble more vehicles in the United States than any other automaker.

The 2020 pandemic caused the closure of almost all factories, starting in March and they started opening them in the last half of the second quarter. Without a doubt, the effects of Covid-19 were bad for almost everyone.

Covid-19 also forced Ford to shut down production for about two months.

However, Ford's U.S. production reached 1.7 million vehicles last year, 188,000 more than the next-largest automaker.

More than 82% of Ford vehicles sold in the US in 2020 were made in US factories, compared to 75% in 2019, which is quite impressive given the generational change on the 150 Ford F-2021.

And that's not to mention the detrimental effects caused by COVID-19 in early 2020, which forced Ford to shut down production for about two months.

Ford production currently comes from eight assembly plants, and several of them have recently received upgrades to build a roster of all-new utility vehicles.

The Michigan assembly plant is currently being reconfigured to produce the 2021 Ford Bronco alongside the existing Ford Ranger, while the Chicago assembly plant continues to build the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator.

The Dearborn Truck plant and the Kansas City plant also received some changes so they can produce the 150 Ford F-2021.

After hygiene and care standards have become more regular for factories to reopen and begin car production, now a constant shortage of semiconductor chips is hindering production of the F-150.

due to massive sales of home entertainment devices such as game consoles, TVs, smartphones and tablets, which have become snapped up due to restrictive measures around the world.

In accordance with Consumer Technology Association In the United States, 2020 has so far been the year with the highest electronics sales revenue, estimated to reach $442 billion. These numbers are expected to increase in 2021.
