Ford Introduces Limited Edition Bronco DR
The Ford Performance team designed every facet of the Bronco DR to help it endure some tough days on rough terrain, with the idea of enduring the famous SCORE Baja 1000 in Baja California, Mexico.

The Bronco DR is based on the four-door Bronco 2022. However, the DR adds unique body and chassis modifications for high-speed desert racing.
This limited edition Ford Bronco is powered by an 8-liter Coyote V5.0 engine that is capable of producing over 400 horsepower (hp).

Ford is taking its Bronco DR to the next level and offering customers a completely different off-road terrain. With this truck, off-road racing fans will be able to experience desert racing on a whole new level.
“The Bronco DR exists to provide off-road enthusiasts with a wild turnkey 4WD vehicle for desert racing, including the relentless Baja XNUMX,” Rushbrook said in a press release. “It all started with a four-door Bronco – the platform and chassis are real production, and then we tuned and optimized every aspect and built the car that off-road enthusiasts want.”
Although final specs will be released closer to the on-sale date, the Bronco DR includes a long list of equipment specifically designed for off-road racing in the desert.
The Ford Bronco DR will be produced in 50 units in late 2022 with a starting price in the $200,000 range.
The Bronco DR is targeted at the SCORE Baja 1000 in 2022 and will be featured in Ford Performance red, white, black and blue to celebrate the Baja 1000 victory. The DR pays homage to Bronco and its overall victory in the 1000 Baja 1969. .
