We see a new grille and C-shaped headlights. For the first time, the Ford Ranger offers matrix LED headlights. Beneath the new body is a redesigned chassis with a 50mm longer wheelbase and 50mm wider track than the previous Ranger. A truck extension of 50mm may seem small, but it makes a big difference, especially for the cargo area. This means that customers will be able to load both base loads and full-size pallets. It complements the fully digital cockpit and features Ford's latest SYNC system, which can be controlled by voice to control communications, entertainment and information systems. Plus, the factory-installed FordPass Connect Modem lets you connect with the world on the go when connected to the FordPass app, making customers unreachable when they're away from home. FordPass improves driving comfort with features such as remote start, remote vehicle status information, and remote locking and unlocking the doors from a mobile device.

The next generation Ranger will be produced at Ford's factories in Thailand and South Africa from 2022. Other locations will be announced later. Subscription listings for Next Generation Ranger will open in Europe in late 2022 and will be delivered to customers in early 2023.
