K1600 Forum: Installing Bagster Tank Cover with Bagster Saddle Bag on K1600GTL

Here is a guide for assembling the bagster tank cap with the bagster saddle bag on the K1600GTL motorcycle. As you can see, the tank cap and bag are assembled quickly.

Each side: 3 side straps.

Then the center rail with the screw to secure the tank cap to the motorcycle. :

This screw must be unscrewed and put back together with the strap. :

Advantages:

• Protecting the tank from scratches with a jacket.
• The appearance does not matter.
• Price 110 €.
• We are reusing our old bag.
• My old bag is raised again and is very waterproof, so it is larger than a BMW.

Disadvantages:

• The bag is high, so watch the turns.
• The bag must be removed to refill fuel.
• Neumann is locked, the upper hook is touching the rudder cables.
• Limit abdominal space.
