French batteries for Niu electric scooters

French SME Forsee Power will produce over 100.000 batteries for the Chinese electric scooter specialist.

Announced in mid-February, this new partnership will run until 2022 with first battery shipments from Q2019 XNUMX. In total, Forsee Power will produce four types of batteries for various models of the Chinese manufacturer: N-Series, M-Series and U-Series.

Made in China

If Forsee Power has a manufacturing site in Chassena, a few kilometers from Futuroscope, Niu batteries will be manufactured in China, where French SMEs have a plant in Zhongshan, in the Canton region.

In total, Forsee Power plans to produce over 100 batteries in 000 years for Niu. The amount of the contract was not disclosed.
