FUCI - Electric bike free from all rules

To develop an electric bike that does not adhere to any of the regulations set by the International Cycling Union is the goal of Robert Egger, who introduced the FUCI concept.

As with the car, the world of bicycles is highly regulated. There can be no question of placing bicycles on the market that are not approved and do not comply with the rules of Union Cycliste International.

Tired of all these restrictive rules, Robert Egger, Creative Director at Specialized, decided to break free of them by offering FUCI, a completely original road bike concept.

With a 33.3-inch rear wheel and a particularly futuristic look, the FUCI is powered by an electric motor mounted in a connecting rod and powered by a removable battery. The bike has a docking station on the handlebars that can accommodate a smartphone.

In total, the FUCI concept required 6 months of work. As for those who hoped to see it one day on the Tour de France, know that it is not intended to be commercialized.
