FreshMaps and TMC Pro features in Navigon navigation
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the company this year, Navigon has prepared special device kits with free FreshMaps and TMC Pro service, which allow drivers to keep abreast of the latest changes on roads throughout Europe, and effectively avoid traffic jams and roadworks.
Promotional models from the Navigon 40 series will be available in Poland, including Navigon 40 Plus with a special cover and a free FreshMaps service that allows map updates for two years, as well as Navigon 40 Plus with FreshMaps and TMC. Pro, i.e. an extended service for informing drivers about current road difficulties. At the same time, all Navigon devices in the Premium segment will now be able to take advantage of the enhanced TMC Pro service.

The TMC Pro service is available via radio, so users can freely use it outside of Poland at no additional charge. Traffic information is collected from many sources, so users are constantly and timely informed about road conditions (narrowing, construction, reconstruction), road weather conditions (e.g. slippery surface), as well as accidents and other events that may affect safety and travel time. The information is also collected from moving vehicles, so you don't need to visit a website or download paid information on your mobile phone to find out about traffic on your route. Traffic or traffic information will be taken into account by the navigation system, which will immediately suggest an alternative route. With TMC Pro, driving becomes more economical and sustainable - you use less fuel, which is good for the environment and the driver's pocket.
Modern maps play an increasingly important role in navigation devices. The lack of recent data on this can be annoying when your navigation device shows the possibility of turning on a non-existent road. Navigon offers a solution to this problem with FreshMaps, which allows you to download a pan-European data package from NAVTEQ, the map experts, over the Internet. Updates include full map content, including new and restored roads and points of interest (POIs).
The sale will include the Navigon 40 Plus with free FreshMaps service and additional equipment at a recommended price of PLN 649, as well as the Navigon 40 Plus with FreshMaps and TMC Pro service for PLN 699.
