The GM 5ET50 or MKV hybrid automatic machine was produced at the concern's factories from 2015 to 2019 and was installed on the second generation Chevrolet Volt and its Chinese modification Buick Velite 5. There was a separate version of this box for Chevrolet Malibu 9 hybrids with the MKE index.
This series also includes automatic transmission: 4ET50.

Disadvantages, breakdowns and problems of automatic transmission 5ET50
This is a fairly rare hybrid machine on our market and there is little information about it.
The box got rid of all the main problems of its predecessor and rarely worries
As before, most of the glitches are associated with the control unit and are treated with firmware
A number of owners experienced malfunctions in the gear selector
Also, due to the low location, such a machine can be damaged on a bad road.
