Requirements

Based on the conditions of use, the following characteristics and properties are especially important for hydraulic oils:

1. Small dependence of viscosity on temperature.
2. Chemical and thermal stability.
3. Incompressibility.
4. Good anti-wear and non-stick performance.
5. Preservation of the stability of properties in conditions of high humidity.
6. As low a thickening temperature as possible.
7. water emulsifying ability.
8. Good filterability.
9. Anticorrosive properties.
10. Low flash/ignition point vapours.
11. cavitation resistance.
12. Minimum foaming.
13. Sealant compatibility.

To implement the above set of parameters, various additives are added to the base base of hydraulic oils. The main ones are corrosion inhibitors, antioxidants, defoamers, antiwear agents, detergents.

Among petroleum-based oils, AMG-10 hydraulic oil is considered a common brand (brand name: aviation hydraulic oil with a viscosity of about 10 mm²from). Technical requirements for oil are regulated by GOST 6794-75 (international equivalent - DIN 51524). The most reputable domestic manufacturer of these products is the Lukoil trademark.

Composition of oils AMG-10

The appearance of this oil product is a low-viscosity transparent liquid of red color. Indicators controlled during manufacture:

• Kinematic viscosity, mm²/s, in a practically used temperature range (±50^°C) respectively - from 10 to 1250.
• The temperature at which boiling begins ^°C, not less than 210.
• Acid number in terms of KOH, mg - 0,03.
• Minimum value of kinematic viscosity, mm²/s, after the oxidation test - 9,5.
• flash point outdoors, ^°C, not less than 93.
• Thickening temperature, ^°C, no more than minus 70.
• Density at room temperature, kg/m³, not higher - 850.

The presence of water, as well as acids and alkalis, which are soluble in water, is not allowed in AMG-10 hydraulic oil.

The current production control of this product includes wear tests, during which such indicators as the presence of mechanical sediment with wear particles in the oil, the quality and adhesion to metal parts of the hydraulic system of the surface film, and the size of the wear scar after the tribological tests specified by the standard are limited. The upper limit of the test temperature range is +85^°C.

Application

Hydraulic oil brand AMG-10 is recommended for use in systems:

• Including materials that are heterogeneous in their physical and mechanical properties.
• Operated in a wide range of operating temperatures and pressures.
• Subjected to various types of wear, including cavitation (often occurs in the moving parts of aviation equipment).
• Working in the presence of active oxidizing agents.

The operation of hydraulic systems where AMG-10 oil is used must be carried out in compliance with fire safety rules.
