Characteristics of HLP 68
Hydraulic oil HLP 68 is used in industrial systems as a working fluid, and therefore should remain sufficiently viscous, have high extreme pressure properties and antioxidant properties. The viscosity class is determined by the ISO VG standards, the index is 68.
According to the specification, the products correspond to the classification of DIN 51524, II category. This means that it is created on the basis of mineral oils that have undergone deep selective purification. Then, through multi-stage bench tests, an additive package was selected for the product. The best and most functional of them have been added to the formulation of HLP 68. The oil has no additives in the formulation that affect the formation of deposits and the spread of corrosion.

Unlike HLP 32 oil, the presented samples have a higher degree of viscosity, which means that they can be used both in old, Soviet industrial hydraulic systems, and in sophisticated imported equipment.

Benefits of HLP 68 Hydraulic Oil
Compared to oils of the HLP 46 line, the presented products have better anti-wear properties. Its use in equipment within the framework of maintenance recommended by the manufacturer will significantly extend the life of the systems and improve their functionality. Oil consumption, according to studies, is much lower than analogues with a lower viscosity index.
Also, the positive qualities of HLP 68 are:
- effective protection of elements that are constantly in contact with water and liquids from premature corrosion;
- reduction of thermal loads inside the systems;
- high rates of thermo-oxidative stability;
- hydrolithic stability, which helps protect parts from the damaging effects of aggressive environments;
- high anti-foam properties and good filtration performance will minimize deposits during long-term non-stop operation of hydraulic systems.
This hydraulic is not intended for use in industrial equipment that operates outdoors. Where there is a frequent and uncontrolled temperature difference, the oil changes its technical characteristics and may become ineffective.
Regular use of HLP 68 working fluid will allow enterprises to reduce the cost of repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems in equipment.
