Gocycle promises a revolutionary new folding bike

Specializing in electric folding bicycles, the British manufacturer is preparing to unveil the Gocycle G4, the fourth generation of its iconic model.

Founded in the early 2000s by a former McLaren engineer, Gocycle has made the electric folding bike a specialty. Combining design and performance, the British manufacturer's models have continued to evolve since the launch of the iconic G2009 Gocycle in 1. Following the launch of the GX and then the Gocycle GXi in 2019, the brand is announcing the arrival of the fourth generation of its flagship model. It's simply called Gocycle G4 and is revealed in the first teaser.

The only image released by the manufacturer reveals nothing beyond the new carbon fork. This will be associated with a new engine. Still integrated into the front wheel, it would have been completely redesigned by the manufacturer's teams.

E-bike at the best price

If Gocycle hasn't released the specs for its new model yet, then pricing has already been announced. Set to be the new UK brand leader, the Gocycle G4 will sadly not be available for all budgets.

Designed to replace the current GX and GXi, the new Gocycle G4 will be available in three variants, from € 3499 in the entry-level version to € 5499 in the most powerful G4i version:

  • Gocycle G4 – 3 499 €
  • Gocycle G4me – 4 499 €
  • Gocycle G4i + - 5499 €

« Our fourth generation Gocycle range not only sets a new standard for Gocycle, but also raises the bar for all of our competitors in the foldable electric bike segment. What really turns me on is that the G4 can also challenge traditional non-folding e-bikes. "Explains Richard Thorpe, designer and founder of Gocycle.

The new Gocycle G4 will be unveiled in the coming weeks. Made in the UK, delivery will begin in April.
