Highways Poland - TOP 6

Of course, in the country on the Vistula River, you will find much more than six racetracks. However, we decided to start our list with places that stand out from the rest.

If you're just starting your adventure with interest rallies, start with these tracks. You will not regret.

Poznan route

The track in Poznań is one of the most popular facilities of this type in our country.

What makes it different from others?

For example, the fact that it is the only car in Poland that has the approval of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile), that is, the International Automobile Federation. This allows Tor Poznań to participate in the organization of the highest level of racing - both motorcycle and automobile.

How is the route itself?

It just so happens that there are two of them on the site. The first is a car and motorcycle (4,1 km long), which offers up to 11 turns and many long and straight sections with asphalt. The second is designed for karting (1,5 km long) and offers 8 turns and several straights. As for the width, on both routes it is 12 m.

Out of curiosity, we add that the track was used by such celebrities as Michael Schumacher, Jackie Stewart, Lewis Hamilton or our compatriot Robert Kubica. In addition, the final look of the track was influenced by, among others, Bernie Ecclestone (former Formula 1 boss).

Silesian ring

We started with the most popular, and now it's time (until recently) the newest race track in the country. The Silesian Ring is located at the Kamen Slaski Airport (near Opole), where it was opened in 2016.

It cannot be denied that the track will appeal to many fans of four-wheeled vehicles.

The main track is 3,6 km long, making it the second longest track in Poland (immediately after Poznan). It includes 15 turns and several straight sections (including one 730 m long, ideal for high-speed testing of strong cars). The track gauge varies from 12 to 15 m.

This is not all.

You will also find a 1,5 km go-kart track. This is just a part of the main track, it has 7 turns and several straight lines (including one 600 m long). Thanks to this, you as a driver will prove yourself in any situation.

When it comes to things that are not directly related to driving, Silesia Ring offers tremendous opportunities for events. It includes, among others:

  • hall for events and cinema,
  • launch tower,
  • observation deck,
  • kitchen and catering facilities,
  • and so on

Interestingly, there is also an official Porsche Training Center on the site. This means that buyers and fans of the brand also train on the track.

Yastrzhab track

Considered by many to be the most modern in Poland, Tor Jastrząb offers not only the possibility of holding rallies, but also driver training. It is located near Szydlovac (not far from Radom) and has several attractions:

  • main track,
  • karting track,
  • straight into the race (1/4 mile)
  • slip plates that reproduce the loss of adhesion.

The total length of all routes is almost 3,5 km. Interestingly, they were all built from scratch (and not on asphalt, as is the case with most of these structures).

However, we are primarily interested in the main track. It is 2,4 km long and 10 m wide. Drivers are offered 11 corners and 3 long straight lines, in which they check the maximum speed of the car.

In addition, Tor Jastrząb also offers accommodation, a restaurant, gyms and other attractions.

Kielce track

This time it is one of the oldest objects of this type, since it has been operating since 1937. Tor Kielce was built at the Kielce Maslov airport, in a very picturesque area.

Drivers have at their disposal a wide runway (1,2 km long) on which they can easily mark routes of various types and degrees of difficulty. One circle of Toru Kielce is about 2,5 km long with 7 different turns and several straight lines. The longest is 400 m, which is more than enough to test the power of the machine.

The company is one of the leaders in the country in terms of traffic dynamics. You won't run out of strong impressions here!

Trek Bemovo

One of the most interesting establishments of this type for residents of Warsaw and its environs, as well as for people looking for a good driving experience. The Bemowo Circuit was built on the site of the former Babice Airport, thanks to which it has a wide runway with a length of 1,3 km.

As a result, every race organizer can customize the route for their clients almost the way they want.

In addition to rally driving, safe driving trainings are also held here. For this, tracks with support plates are used. In addition, you will find rollover and collision simulators here.

It is worth noting that numerous car events take place on the Bemovo track, including the popular Barborka rally. In addition, Robert Kubica and several other famous Polish drivers visited the site.

Tor Ulenzh

Another facility built on the site of the former airport - this time for training. As a result, it has a 2,5 km long runway, allowing for more flexibility in route planning.

Speed tests of supercars are also excellent here. There is enough space for the driver to feel the top speed of the vehicle.

The Ulenzh track is located in the town of Novodvor (not far from Lublin) - about 100 km from Warsaw. It serves as a place to improve your skiing technique on a daily basis, so you will also find skid plates and a training center on site.

It also hosts a variety of activities, including Track Day, ski days open to hobbyists. It doesn't take much to participate. A valid driver's license, helmet and car are usually sufficient.

Racetracks Poland - other points of interest

The above six motor sports facilities in Poland are not limited to. Since there are many more of them, we decided to list and describe at least a few in this part of the article.

Here are some things to know.

Moto Park Track Krakow

The youngest and most modern track in the country. It was founded in 2017, aided by the vice-champion of the Junior World Rally Championship Michal Kosciuszko. The track in Krakow was supposed to be the embodiment of the idea of creating a place accessible to every motorist.

In many respects it succeeded.

The facility has a track 1050 m long and 12 m wide, which is so varied that it is a great pleasure to drive and allows you to test your own skills. Here you will find 9 turns and several straight sections.

In addition to the track, there is also a training center with three base plates. One of them has the shape of the letter S. At the moment, this is the only album of its kind in the whole country.

Moto Park Kraków is located very close to the city - only 17 km from the city center.

Lodz route

Since 2016, riders have access to a modern race track in the central part of the country. The owners of Toru ódź are ideal for this location, as the property is located at the intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways. It functions as a Driving Excellence Center on a daily basis.

What will you find on the site?

One line of a racing-training track with a length of more than 1 km, two slip plates, as well as a modern time meter (Tag Hauer system). The trail with sharp turns and many descents is great for testing your driving skills.

Moreover, the site also has a track day during which you drive dynamically without any particular restrictions.

Bee trail

Another very young track, founded in 2015. It is located near Gdansk and is part of the local traffic center.

What does the facility offer? Three things:

  • karting track,
  • dirt road,
  • maneuvering area.

As for what the tigers like best, the main line of the track is more than 1 km long. While driving, you will encounter many turns and descents, and also experience the speed of your vehicle on a long straight.

Interestingly, the track also has traffic lights and a timing system. In addition, on site you will find many additional training facilities, incl. water curtains or systems destabilizing the track.

Curve track

In recent years, the number of race tracks in Poland has grown significantly. Curve is another example. The facility was built on the recently closed Pixers Ring. Location - the city of Osla (near Wroclaw and Boleslawiec).

The Krzywa track will give a lot of impressions to racing fans, as it is 2 km long and 8 m wide, has a completely asphalt surface and an extensive infrastructure of turns (there are a total of twelve).

This is not all.

You will also find 5 additional episodes that cover different disciplines of motorsport. Tor Krzywa is also the venue for many events (including Track Day, which we have already mentioned many times).

Ascending route Bialystok

Moving to Podlasie. On the track, which (like several of its predecessors) was built on the apron of the airport. This time we are talking about the Bialystok-Kryvlany airport.

Thanks to this location, the facility has a completely asphalt surface, on which you can easily check the power of supercars. The track is 1,4 km long and 10 m wide. And modern lighting means it can be used even after dark.

Moreover, the facility is still being modernized.

In the final version, it will have energy-intensive barriers, earth embankments, stands, a spacious parking lot for visitors, as well as medical and technical rooms. It is currently one of the fastest growing tracks in Poland.
