The debut of the next restyling of the Chinese Great Wall Wingle 5 pickup took place in 2016. Compared to the pre-styling version, the homologation pickup received better anti-corrosion treatment of chassis parts, the frame was slightly modified, and a new composite coating appeared in the cargo compartment. To increase the carrying capacity of the car, additional springs were installed in the rear suspension.
