Hado or Suprotec. What is better to choose?

How does Suprotec work?

According to the manufacturer, the tribological composition for Suprotec engines is not an additive, but acts as an independent additive that does not increase the performance properties of engine oil. The tribotechnical composition, produced under the Suprotec brand, is produced for various types of engines and operating modes of a car. But the mechanism of action on internal combustion engine parts for all these additives is approximately the same.

  1. Initially, the tribological composition gently cleans the friction surface from deposits on the metal. Therefore, it is poured approximately 1000 thousand kilometers before the next oil change. This is necessary so that the active components can securely fix on the metal surface, since their high adhesive ability is manifested only when in contact with the metal.
  2. Together with the new engine oil, at the next change, a new bottle with the tribological composition from Suprotec is poured in. The vehicle is in normal operation. During this period, there is an active formation of a protective layer on the surfaces of worn and damaged parts. A layer up to 15 microns is considered optimal. As tests have shown, thicker formations are unstable in the long term. That is why heavily "killed" motors cannot be restored due to such additives.

  1. After a run of 10 thousand km, another oil change takes place with the filling of the third, last bottle of Suprotec tribotechnical composition. This operation fixes the resulting protective layer on the friction surfaces and fills those parts of the contact spots where there are gaps. After the expiration of the scheduled run, the oil is changed again. The car then runs normally.

Before buying a tribotechnical composition, it is important to understand that this is not a panacea for the engine. And a burnt-out valve or a cylinder mirror worn to deep grooves will not restore any composition. Therefore, the issue of buying should be decided after the first alarm bells. If the moment is missed, the engine began to eat oil per liter for two to three thousand kilometers, or the compression dropped to cylinder failure - it would be more correct to look for another way out of this situation.

Principle of action of Hado additive

The additive in the Hado engine differs both in the principle of operation and in the method of application. The manufacturer calls its compositions "revitalizants" or "metal conditioners". Unlike the tribotechnical composition from Suprotec, the working components in the Xado revitalizant are the so-called "smart ceramics".

In addition to the properties of restoring worn surfaces, the manufacturer promises an unprecedented reduction in the coefficient of friction, increased compression and, in general, softer, more stable and longer engine operation due to the creation of a heavy-duty protective layer on the contact patches.

This tool is applied in two stages. Initially, the first portion of the revitalizant is poured 1000-1500 km before the next oil change. It is recommended to pour the agent at a positive ambient temperature, optimally at +25 °C. In this case, it is not recommended to overload the engine.

After changing the oil, the second portion of the revitalizant is added, and the car is operated in the normal mode. According to the manufacturer, such engine treatment will create protection for rubbing surfaces for a run of up to 100 thousand km. Further, after each oil change, it is recommended to add a metal conditioner.

Comparison of additives

Today, there are quite a few laboratory tests and independent tests in the public domain that show the true, and not advertising, effectiveness of protective and restorative oil additives. All of them, directly or indirectly, say the following:

  • all additives do have a positive effect on engine parts in certain cases;
  • in general, Suprotec additives are slightly more effective, but cost much more than Hado;
  • the positive effect depends on the correct application.

And the question of which is better, Hado or Suprotec, can be answered in a few words like this: both of these additives really work, but only when used correctly. You need to understand exactly what is actually happening with the engine. And only on the basis of this, choose one or another additive to the oil. Otherwise, the effect may be opposite and will only accelerate the process of destruction of engine parts.
