Haibike Introduces New Flyon E-Bike Line

Fully focused on maximum performance, the Flyon series introduces a new electric motor developed by its own German brand, owned by the Winora group.

The Flyon series electric motors, developed in collaboration with TQ, the brand's subcontractor, are unique. Specially designed for HPR 120s electric motorcycles, it delivers up to 120 Nm of torque and can be matched with a 38 or 42 tooth single sprocket. The steering wheel electrical system is controlled via a central display linked to the remote control. Eco, Low, Mid, High and Xtreme ... five assistance modes are available, each with its own color code. Display on the display, as well as on a thin LED strip built into the remote control. Attention to detail is also paid to the finishing of the cable ducts located inside the frame.

On the battery side, Haibike has teamed up with BMZ to offer a 48-volt unit directly integrated into the frame, storing 630 Wh of energy. Specially positioned at the bottom of the down tube to reduce the center of gravity, it can be easily removed while still being protected by the anti-theft locking device developed in collaboration with Abus. Chargeable on or off the bike with a 4A external charger, the battery can also be connected to an optional 10A fast charger, cutting the required charging time in half.
