HID - High Intensity Discharge

These are the latest generation of self-adjusting bi-xenon headlights that provide better and clearer illumination than traditional headlights, thereby enhancing safety.

In the early 90s, HID bulbs were used in car headlights. This app has received positive and negative reviews from motorists: those who appreciate its better visibility at night; those who disagree with the risk of glare. International regulations for European vehicles require such headlamps to be equipped with detergent and an automatic leveling system to keep the beams at the correct angle regardless of vehicle load and height, but such devices are not required in North America, where models with even more blinding light light beam allowed.

Placing HID bulbs in headlights not originally designed for this purpose results in very severe glare and is illegal in many parts of the world.
