The Jazz also received the highest score in the overall ranking, combining the categories of car user safety (4 stars), pedestrian safety (3 stars) and child transport safety (3 stars).

This result was made possible thanks to G-control technology, which allows the energy generated in a collision to be absorbed by the front, longer, stiffer and simpler frame structure. The curved frame receives and absorbs some of the energy, while the rest of it is directed to the floor frame, which prevents the risk of damage to the cabin. Frame rails surround the fuel tank for added protection. This ensures the rigidity of the entire structure and the stability of the cab against collapse.

The high level of safety of the Honda Jazz is also due to the presence of airbags for the driver and front passenger, as well as a new type of seat. Their headrests have been moved forward and their backrests have been reshaped.
