The new CR6 and CR6 Pro electric motorcycles presented at EICMA in Milan from the Austrian Horwin are accompanied by the new Horwin EK3 electric scooter.

Neo-retro electric motorcycles, the new Horwin CR6 and CR6 Pro were first introduced to the public at EICMA. Technically, nothing special, as the manufacturer already told us everything at the end of October.

Building on the same foundation, the CR6 and CR6 Pro differ primarily in engine configuration. While the CR6 gets a 7,2 kW unit capable of a cruising speed of up to 95 km / h, the CR6 Pro develops power up to 11 kW and gets a five-speed manual transmission. Its top speed is also slightly higher: 105 km / h.

Sold for € 5890 and € 6990 respectively, the Horwin CR6 and CR6 Pro get a 4 kWh battery pack. The latter provides from 135 to 150 km of autonomy, depending on the model chosen.

First appearance of Horwin EK3

In addition to its electric motorcycles, Horwin is also leveraging the benefits of EICMA to lift the curtain on the new electric scooter.

Approved in the 125 cc equivalent category, the Horwin EK3 is equipped with a 4,2 kW electric motor. Mounted in the center position, it delivers a maximum power of 6,7 kW and a torque of 160 Nm. This is enough to deliver a top speed of 95 km / h.

On the battery side, the scooter can accommodate up to two plug-in units of 2,88 kWh (72 V - 40 Ah). In terms of autonomy, the brand promises up to 100 km with a pack (at 45 km / h) or up to 200 km with two batteries.

At this stage, Horwin does not specify either the price or the start date for the sale of his electric scooter. A case to follow!
