Hyundai i20N: a small sports car will appear in 2020 – preview

Hyundai has ambitious plans for its sports lineup. The arrival of the i30 N in dealerships was just an anticipation of what the future holds.

But today's news is that the N family will also expand to the smallest of the range, the i20. He will arrive in the first half 2020 and it will deal directly with other small sports cars on the market such as the Ford Fiesta ST and Volkswagen Polo GTI.

The starting point will be the new Hyundai i20, recently refreshed, but it will be able to count on a specific engine and revised tuning. In particular, it will have a dedicated suspension, high-performance brakes and more direct steering.

Compared to the engine, under the hood Hyundai i20 N we will find a petrol 1.6 T-GDi, the power of which should be about 200 CV and combined with a manual transmission.
