Hyundai Motor Europe GmbH has launched its new Lifetime MapCare™* program which has been providing free annual map and software updates for all Hyundai vehicles with an integrated navigation system since 2010. The upgrade goes smoothly for the customer as the Hyundai dealer can help with the annual service. Lifetime MapCare™* is a unique service for buyers of new and used Hyundai vehicles and is one of the longest-running programs offered by a car manufacturer. This initiative is another step in Hyundai Motor Europe's approach to offering products and services that exceed customer expectations.
The comprehensive Lifetime MapCare™* program, developed in collaboration with cloud localization company HERE, covers the whole of Europe, making planning even long pan-European routes truly seamless with highly accurate map data. The updates cover the entire navigation system – continuous route optimization, usability and appearance calculation – as well as the latest Bluetooth connectivity software, giving Hyundai customers in Europe the ability to safely use the latest generation smartphones and features in their vehicles on any device. time.

Compared to manually updating map data, Lifetime MapCare ™ * helps customers save at least € 1000 in map and software updates over the entire period. Updates can be made free of charge during the annual vehicle service at your respective Hyundai dealer. In addition, Lifetime * MapCare ™ can be transferred to a new owner when the vehicle is sold.
* Lifetime MapCare™ is the term of Hyundai's subscription plan to the MapCare software program, which provides annual map updates for eligible Hyundai vehicles for at least ten years after the end of model production.
