Hyundai Introduces New Santa Fe For The First Time

The first image shows the bold but luxurious design of the brand crossover icon.

Hyundai has released a first look at the new Santa Fe. The latest generation of the company's iconic SUV will have a decent and charismatic exterior design, as well as interior design updates that provide a first-class atmosphere and comfort.

The teaser image demonstrates several new design features, including a combined radiator grille combined with new daytime running lights (DRL) as part of the new integrated architecture. The wide grille gives the new Santa Fe a bold character, and the geometric model of the grille adds a stereoscopic dimension. The new T-shaped DRL complements the strong character and makes the new Santa Fe recognizable even from a distance.

Among other improvements, Hyundai will introduce a new series of electrified powertrains, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid options for the first time. In addition, the new Santa Fe will be the first Hyundai model in Europe and the first Hyundai SUV in the world based on the completely new third-generation Hyundai platform. The new architecture can significantly improve efficiency, manageability and safety, as well as electrify drive systems. The new Santa Fe will be available in Europe from September 2020. More information will appear in the coming weeks.
