Hyundai has released a new generation air conditioner
The innovative system will also be used in the Genesis and Kia models (VIDEO).
Hyundai Motors engineers have developed a new generation air conditioner that will significantly differ from the system currently in use. Thanks to the After-Blow technology, Korean company's new device successfully fights bacteria spread and will eliminate the unpleasant odor.
With the new air conditioner, car owners will experience much greater travel comfort. Nowadays, especially in hot weather, the car interior becomes a fertile environment for bacteria of various types. An algorithm developed by Hyundai solves this problem in just 10 minutes of purging., since the operation of the air conditioner is controlled by the battery charge sensor.
The new air conditioning system also features a second technology, "Multi-Air Mode", which redistributes the airflow for greater comfort for the driver and passengers in the car, depending on their preferences. Simultaneously the air conditioner controls the air quality in the cabin out of the car.
The system has several modes of operation, each of which has a different color indicator. For example, when it is orange, the air conditioner enters the cleaning mode. If the procedure fails, this means that the car owner must replace the system filters.

New air conditioner will be tested on Hyundai, Genesis and Kia models, then (depending on the results of these tests in real conditions) will begin mass production and placement of cars of three Korean brands.
