Infiniti Q60 GT 2017 review

Markus Kraft road-tests and reviews the 2.0T GT version of the new Infiniti Q60 coupe, along with performance, fuel economy and launch verdict in Australia.

There's a fair amount of pressure on the 2017 Infiniti Q60. He's spearheading the brand's coupe strategy - at least until its bigger sibling, the 3.0-liter 3.0T, arrives in March 2017 - and is an important part of Infiniti's focused efforts to further the brand. Which in itself is a battle because a lot of people are still not too sure what Infiniti does or, in fact, what it is. Good news for Infiniti: they could do a lot worse than heading into a busy 2017 with this great-looking coupe at the forefront.

The Q60 2.0T GT is a great car. He has talent, but he is not flashy; it's fun, but it's not fantastic - which is quite normal for an entry-level coupe. But is "good" enough to help propel the Infiniti brand to the forefront and center stage in the minds of the car buyer community? This can only be guessed at, but for those chasing a coupe without gravitating towards high-level sports drive, it could be worse.
