We asked Dougie a few questions after his big surprise in March and our Kazookeeper was happy to share his thoughts with us.

Question: How did you feel when you saw the Cazoo car carrier pulling up to your house?

A: Excited, very excited! I wasn't nervous about all the great reviews I read online.

Q: And how did you feel when you realized that you became our 1000th customer and received your Cazoo car for free?

A: I couldn't believe it, I burst into tears. I was shocked. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I was very touched. 

When the car arrived and it looked exactly like the pictures, absolutely flawless, I was already so excited and satisfied. Question: Why did you choose the Cazoo car?

A: There were three main reasons why I chose the Cazoo car. The first reason is that the service was rubbish at the dealerships I visited.

Q: What is important to you when looking for a car?

A: The most important thing for me when buying a car is to make sure that our dog is happy to fit in the back. Whenever we go looking for a car, we take the dog with us, and if he can get into the trunk and there is enough room for him, then we will consider the car.

I have tested about three or four cars in other places and the service there was so terrible and the cars were obviously tested many times and never cleaned after that. I decided to look online and that's when I found Cazoo.

Question: How do you feel about buying a car over the Internet?

A: The reviews online have been very positive and people have said they had a great experience with Cazoo. I also saw a lot of ads that gave me confidence that this is a reliable company and will be risk free, not only because of the 7 day money back guarantee, but also because the company is financially stable.

Q: Did you feel supported by our customer service team?

A: When I was processing the car payment, an error message appeared on the screen. I was confused and a little worried about my credit limit. I called support and they told me it had something to do with my bank because the payment didn't go through. I called the bank and they thought it was a scam because I haven't used my credit card for a long time and it's a big transaction. 

However, even after discussing this with the bank, the transaction still didn't go through, so I called Cazoo again and was told the car would be reserved for me for a few days until the issue was resolved. The support person was very helpful and understanding. I finally got through the payment on Monday and I think this delay is what made me my 1000th customer! I was very pleased with the customer service as he assured me of a number of different things and went above and beyond.

Question: What will you be using your car for?

A: I mostly commute to work, but also in my spare time, like walking my dog ​​and the like. I was looking for a second car because my wife needed it. I originally planned to retire, so I was going to give her another car, but in the end we both needed it.

Q: Did you manage to treat yourself to something nice with the money you saved by winning a car?

A: My daughter is getting married so I gave her a lot of money to spend on her wedding. She was supposed to get married in August 2020, but she was moved to May next year due to quarantine and all. She was sad about having to reschedule her wedding, so having extra money to spend on her next year cheered her up a bit - hopefully!

Q: Would you recommend Cazoo to anyone looking to buy a used car?

A: I would advise them to use Cazoo, not because I got my car for free, but because it's safe, easy and there is such a large selection of cars to choose from. If you cannot find it on the Cazoo website, in my opinion, you are unlikely to find it anywhere else! I told everyone I worked with about my experience and they couldn't believe it!

A: Safe, easy and very useful.
