What are fitting rooms and bevels made of?

They are made of brass because it is easy to machine, aesthetically pleasing, and strong enough to withstand constant contact with the workpiece.
	plastic Sometimes fiberglass reinforced plastic is used for fitting and bevelling. In some cases, it is used for both stock and blade. Try and plastic-butted bevels are usually a cheaper option. The process of reinforcing plastic with fiberglass makes it stronger.
	Metal Another material used for fitting and corner stocks is aluminum, which is die-cast and sometimes anodized. Injection molding is a way of shaping metal, while anodizing is a treatment process in which the metal is painted. The steel is primarily used to make the blade at fitting and oblique angles, but can sometimes be used on stocks as well. This is usually when the entire tool is cut from one piece of material. This means that the blade and stock are the same or very similar in thickness, which may mean that there is no ridge to hold the tool in place. This may make them a little less effective.

	Steel Strong blued steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, and blued spring steel are some of the descriptions of the types of steel used for square section blades. Steel is used because of its strength and durability. Durable, blued, hardened and stainless steels are made by heat treatment and processes that further enhance these properties of the steel.
	These types of steel have much in common and are produced with similar properties. For trial and corner squares, there is very little difference in performance, and they are all effective. The price of trial and corner squares is more reflective of the stock material. However, stainless steel is often considered the best due to its popularity and corrosion resistance, and can be a bit more expensive.
