Jaguar Land Rover is working on a hydrogen SUV

Hydrogen powered vehicles have so far been unsuccessful in the market, giving way to electric vehicles. Although hydrogen is the most common element on Earth, the problem lies in its complex production and the necessary infrastructure.

At the same time, almost all manufacturers recognized hydrogen engines as the most environmentally friendly, since they emit only water vapor into the environment.

British Jaguar Land Rover is another car company that is starting work on a hydrogen fuel cell model. According to an internal company document released by the manufacturer, it will be an all-terrain vehicle that will be produced by 2024.

The company's initiative has received widespread support from both the private and public sectors. The development of a future hydrogen model called Project Zeus received funding from the British government in the amount of $ 90,9 million.

Several other UK companies will be involved in the construction of the SUV. These include Delta Motorsport and Marelli Automotive Systems UK, as well as the British Industrial Battery Design and Production Center.
