Jeep Unveils Two Incredible 2021 Wrangler Concepts For SEMA That Look Strong And Extreme

Concepts from Jeep, Ram and Dodge brands will showcase the latest manufacturing and custom innovations at SEMA 2021. However, Jeep will showcase two powerful and extreme models: the Jeep Wrangler Overlook Concept and the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Concept.

The SEMA concept moment is here again, and this year Stellantis goes even further with seven concepts for the popular aftermarket program it announced on Friday, but there are two concepts that have caught the eye and both are Jeeps. .

Jeep Wrangler Overlook

The first concept, and the most radical one, is called the Jeep Wrangler Overlook. It combines all the beloved aspects of the four-door JL Wrangler with a humpback roof and glowing windows for the downright dreamy but nightmarish look of the Land Rover Discovery II.

The concept lengthens the four-door Wrangler by as much as 12 inches and uses that space to accommodate a third row of seats. The driver and front passenger get a special detachable Freedom Top with a sunroof, while rear passengers get the aforementioned alpine lights and an optional sunroof to enjoy the view.

In terms of performance, the Overlook benefits from a range of accessories from the Jeep Performance Parts catalog, including a 2-inch suspension lift, 20-inch Black Rhino wheels with 37-inch tires, tubular side steps, and a stamped steel front bumper. with winch attachment. Jeep also added new 5-inch LED headlights and a custom rear bumper with a spare tire boost kit to handle the new heavy duty tires and wheel package.

Inside, a sea of black leather and suede with an embroidered Jeep grille logo on the seatbacks. The instrument panel is also upholstered in leather with Sahara Bronze contrast stitching.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe with Performance Parts

Another favorite concept is a hybrid Wrangler 4xe modified with Jeep Performance Parts. We already knew that since then, deep down, it's still a Wrangler. But the guys at JPP have taken it a step further and made it even better by adding a 2-inch lifter with Fox shocks designed specifically for the 4xe. It also gets wheels with 37-inch tires with bead-lock capability, as well as a new stamped steel front bumper with single-ring winch protection.

Jeep also added some customizable underbody lights for all the night climbing you'll want to do on this thing, as well as a set of 5-inch LED high beam headlights. Also new is maximum track stiffness and a full range of tubular doors. Jeep even installed an air compressor in the 4xe's tailgate to help bring air back after a long day on the road.

The beauty of these two Jeep concepts is that intrepid JL Wrangler owners should be able to recreate much of the look and functionality through the judicious use of the Jeep Performance Parts catalog, as well as visit the aftermarket to purchase the rest of the required items.

The 2021 SEMA Show opens in Las Vegas on Tuesday, November 2nd and runs through Friday, November 5th. The show, as always, is closed to the public.
