To the new opportunities of WCBKT SA in the civilian market

GPU-7/90 TAURUS is designed and manufactured by WCBKT SA to serve the world's largest passenger aircraft AIR BUS A-380.

Wojskowe Centralne Biuro Konstrukcyjno-Technologiczne SA (WCBKT SA), being the successor of the Experimental Production Plant of the Military University of Technology, established in 1968, is engaged in the design and manufacture of modern defense devices. WCBKT SA is the only company in Poland that comprehensively equips military airports with ground handling equipment (NOSP). For several years now, the company has also been operating on the civilian market, offering NOSP devices, and after acquiring ZREMB Wojkowice competencies, also equipment for hangars and airports.

The intellectual and technical potential of WCBKT SA allows it to carry out activities that include the design and manufacture of modern devices and ensure their performance throughout the entire life cycle. Due to the fact that the Company is the owner of applied solutions, it has unlimited possibilities in terms of modification and modernization of the proposed devices. It also provides a full range of services.

The service platform is another device from WCBKT SA that allows ground handling, including Boeing 737 aircraft.

Devices manufactured by WCBKT SA have proven themselves in trouble-free operation during foreign missions of Polish military contingents, incl. in Iraq, Afghanistan and Operation Baltic Air Policing (military air surveillance in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia). The company is constantly looking for modern design solutions, improving the manufactured equipment and expanding the company's offer with new devices. WCBKT SA has an integrated quality management system that complies with ISO 9001:2015 and AQAP 2110:2016 standards, as well as an internal control system.

WCBKT SA is part of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa SA (PGZ SA), which allows using the potential of several dozen companies and implementing high-tech projects.

Since 2018, the Center for the Supply and Maintenance of Aircraft Ground Handling Equipment (CDiSS NOSP) has been operating in the structures of WCBKT SA. Its main task is to comprehensively ensure the availability and effectiveness of equipment for all types of aircraft used by the Polish Armed Forces.

The CDiSS NOSP center is designed not only to ensure the effectiveness of ground support equipment manufactured by WCBKT SA, but also all other devices of this type used by the Polish Air Force supplied with new aircraft (C-130, C-295, F-16 and M-346).

WCBKT SA's offer includes: civilian power supplies, military power supplies, distributors, gasifiers, compressors, hydraulic devices, dehumidifiers, lighting devices, airfield tugs, hangar and airfield devices, training and education devices, as well as fire suppression and fire suppression systems.

Including civilian power supplies GPU-7/90 TAURUS developed and manufactured by WCBKT SA were used. to fly Air Force One during US President Donald Trump's visit to Poland in July 2017. The following year, the latest version of the military aerodrome power supply LUZES V/D series V, mounted on the chassis of a Jelcz 443.32 truck, was awarded the National Security Leader award in the Innovative Design category. The first aircraft of this type was officially handed over to the 33rd transport aviation base in Powidze in May 2018.

Airport power supply device LUZES V/D series V is designed to power on-board systems, start engines and check the technical condition of on-board equipment for all types of aircraft of the Polish Armed Forces. The device is designed for continuous operation and can simultaneously serve two aircraft in any conditions (airport, landing site, adventure zone).

The GPU-7/90TAURUS power supply and the LSP 3S passenger ladder are equipment that is already becoming a hit in WCBKT SA's offer.

During the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce in September 2018, the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, presented by Boeing (it is offered to us as part of the Kruk operational program to replace Mi-24 helicopters), was equipped with one of the devices manufactured by WCBKT SA - a power supply LUZES II/M series V. The crew of the AH-64 Apache supplied by a Polish company described the device as better than the American one!
