How to effectively remove ice from windows?
The winter of this year can be called extremely unexpected: the recorded air temperatures were sometimes spring. However, in recent days there have been significant night frosts and negative daytime temperatures. This means going back to cleaning windows in the morning and after frost or snow.
Although for some people the absence of sub-zero temperatures and snow is desirable, for others it is not. 
they imagine winter without its natural attributes. Cars also have to deal with a few degrees of frost, but most of the batteries should be enough. In extreme cases, starting cables and shooting "on loan" from the battery of another car will help. However, the problem of freezing windows is already a problem with a slight frost. It is created because a layer of water vapor appears on the windows that are warm from heating. In these weather conditions, water (in the form of droplets or water vapor) quickly freezes, forming an ice layer. This effectively limits visibility and therefore - in light of applicable law - must be removed. If you do not clean the glass, you can even get a fine! Your own safety and the safety of other road users is also important. Never start the car if it is not ready to drive. Ice that is not removed from the glass leads to a deterioration in visual acuity, since the human eye has to register the image of the road due to the layer closer to it. It's like you see something behind the fog.
Removing ice from windows is a laborious task, and in the case of a thick layer, it can also be difficult. Drivers are usually protected by plastic scrapers to help remove thin ice. The problem occurs when the layer is so thick or stuck to the glass that it cannot be removed without additional assistance (for example, by starting the engine and waiting for the glass to thaw longer due to ventilation or air conditioning). A much more convenient way is to use commercially available windshield defrosters. The complete safety of such products is ensured by one of the manufacturers - modern de-icers are safe for paint and varnish and rubber elements, for example, seals. In addition, thanks to their use, we can be sure that we will not scratch the glass, because the defrosting process does not require the use of force or a scraper at all, says Zbigniew Fechner, technical specialist for the K2 brand, which offers a product called Alaska.
Such products have already been colloquially called "liquid scrapers". It is enough to spray the windows and wait until the liquid melts the ice. The whole process only takes a few minutes and at the end all you have to do is turn on the wipers to remove the water left on the windows. Defrosters are usually available as a spray or spray. Some products also have scraper-style end caps to help you remove defrosting residue faster.
