As expected, the Peugeot e-Traveler copies the Opel Vivaro-E

In early June, Peugeot introduced an electric version of its Traveler passenger minivan, which will hit the European market by the end of the year. In terms of technical equipment, the e-Traveller literally repeats its cargo twin Opel Vivaro-e. A single electric motor develops 100 kW (136 hp, 260 Nm). Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 13,1 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 130 km / h. The autonomous mileage in the WLTP cycle, of course, depends on the battery capacity: 50 kWh - 230 km, 75 kWh - 330 km.

Externally, the electric car differs from the diesel van in only a two-color lion on the emblem, the presence of a charging port in the left front wing and an e-Traveler dashboard at the stern.

Charging up to 80% of the 100 kW fast terminal takes 30 minutes. Devices with a power of 11 and 7,4 kW require 5 and 7,5 hours. When connected to a household electrical outlet, charging takes 31 hours.

The diesel van has a gear lever or a rotary selector under the seven-inch display, and here it has its own combination of switches. In addition, the dashboard provides information on autonomous mileage and the selected driving mode. Otherwise, e-Traveler and Traveler are the same.

The driver can choose between energy recovery modes, as well as programs for the electrical system - Eco (82 hp, 180 Nm), Normal (109 hp, 210 Nm), Power (136 hp). ., 260 Nm). The van will be available in three versions: compact (length 4609 mm), standard (4959), long (5306). The number of seats varies from five to nine. Following the example of Traveler Citroen SpaceTourer and Toyota Proace will also switch to electric traction. The e-Jumpy and e-Expert vans won't stay long.
