How To: Use the Rear Parking Assist on a 2010Runner 4 year Toyota.

One of the many features that the 2010Runner 4 is equipped with is the Rear Parking Assist. To use this feature, press the button to the left of the steering wheel marked P. The system will beep and the green LED will turn on to confirm that the feature is enabled. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the parking assistance system starts beeping. As the vehicle approaches the object, the beeper gradually becomes faster and faster. When the vehicle is very close to an object, the beeper will become one continuous sound. This function will help the driver approximate his distance from the surrounding space when parking.
