How to Fix Your Velobecane E-Bike Squeaking. – Velobekan – Electric bike

Your bike squeak can come from several different sources:

  1. Threading the pedals at the carriage clamp.

  2. Stem lubrication.

  3. Quick-release handlebar couplings and handlebar latches.

  4. The trunk.

  5. Chain.

Pedals.

First you have to disassemble the greased pedals. Lightly grease the pedal threads.

Now remove the crank for lubrication and tightening.

Using an 8 hexagon wrench, unscrew the two sides of our bike. Then we take the crank extractor and proceed to disassemble them.

If you can, we will remove the bottom bracket (step optional).

The right side is divided by twisting the right side up, unscrew the left side and simply apply grease to the connecting rod thread.

Now we come to reassembling the carriage. If you have an e-bike model with a washer, you should not remove it.

For screwing on the right side, turn it counterclockwise, and for the left side, turn it clockwise. To replace the pedal sensor, check if the teeth are in the teeth and lubricate the end pieces on each side.

to reassemble the cranks: push in with the screw and hex wrench, screw in and tighten completely. the same on the other side of your bike.

** We simply push the handle on the back of the right side of your bike. We come to return the chain and pedals.

Right pedal: screw clockwise.

Left Pedal: Turn counterclockwise.

Now we will lubricate: stem, seatpost, trunk spring and handlebars.

The first step is to remove the seatpost and lubricate it to the maximum seating line.

We do the same with the stem with a 6 hex wrench. Remove the stem by unscrewing it a little, and simply lubricate, adjust and tighten thoroughly.

When it comes to tightening, we make sure that the tightening is correctly tightened. at the level of the nut, it should not be too stiff or too easy to loosen.

Now we come to grease the scratches on our rudders.

       trunk:

If you have a spring on your cyclobecan model, we will come and lightly grease it with WD-40.

For folding e-bikes, we will check the hinges to see if they are closed properly with a 3mm hex wrench.

  1. too tight: the screw must be tightened.

  2. too simple: you need to loosen the screw.

We also come to check the tightness of the handles on bicycle models that have screws. Then you will need to unscrew with a 3 mm hex wrench.

Finally, check the tightness of the screws.

we start with a saddle with a 13 or 14 open-end wrench (it all depends on your bike model). we're going to go over and tighten two nuts.

We also check the screws of the mudguard, lantern, rack.

For front tightening: use a size 5 Allen wrench.

for rear tightening: use a 4-size hex wrench.

We've learned how to eliminate squeals from your Velobecane electric bike.
