How to Buy a Personalized Kansas License Plate

Once your personal Kansas license plate arrives in the mail, attach it to your vehicle. Your cosmetic nameplate will be legal for five years. At this point, you must renew your personalization, although there is no charge for this renewal. However, you will still have to pay regular filing fees and personal property taxes.
