Part 2 of 3: Ordering Your Customized Maine License Plate
Step 1: download the app. Download the personalized sign app.
Return to the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles page and click on the button labeled Forms and Applications. Print out this form.
Scroll down to the "Registration Forms" area and click on "Vanity License Plate Application".
Step 2: Fill in the basic information. Enter basic information about the vanity license plate app.
Fill out the basic information on the downloaded form. Then fill in the license plate message you chose in the appropriate space.

Part 3 of 3: Installing Your Personalized Maine License Plates
Step 1: Install License Plates. Install personalized Maine license plates on your vehicle.
After four to six weeks, your personalized license plates will be delivered to you. Once you get your license plates, you must install them on both the front and rear of your car.
