How can I maintain my car?
Regular inspections, scheduled maintenance and general awareness of some of your vehicle's components can greatly increase the life of your vehicle and your peace of mind while driving.
Basic vehicle maintenance usually requires routine inspections and maintenance according to the intervals listed below. Each AvtoTachki service includes a 50-point check that includes all of the checks listed below, so you'll never be in the dark when it comes to the condition of your car. The inspection report is emailed to you and saved to your online account for quick reference.
Every 5,000-10,000 miles:
- Changing the oil and oil filter
- Turn tires
- Inspect brake pads/pads and rotors
- Check fluids: brake fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, washer fluid, coolant.
- Check tire pressure
- Check tire tread
- Check the operation of external lighting
- Inspection of suspension and steering components
- Examine the exhaust system
- Check the wiper blades
- Inspect the cooling system and hoses.
- Lubricate locks and hinges
Every 15,000-20,000 miles:
Includes all items listed over 10,000 miles plus the following items:
- Replacing the air filter and cabin filter
- Replace wiper blades
Every 30,000-35,000 miles:
Includes all items listed over 20,000 miles plus the following item:
- Change transmission fluid
Every 45,000 miles or 3 years:
Includes all items listed over 35,000 miles plus the following item:
- Flush the brake system
