Step 2: Install wheel chocks around the rear wheels, which will remain on the ground. In this case, the wheel chocks will be located around the front wheels, since the rear of the car will be raised. Apply the parking brake to block the rear wheels from moving.

Step 2: Take four C-clamps and place one on each corner of the cap/cap. Take a marker and mark where you want to bolt the cover/cover to secure it to the bed.

Step 3: Get a drill and bits suitable for the bolts you wish to install. Drill holes in the cap/cover mounting surface.

Step 4: Insert the bolts into the holes and fit the locknuts. Tighten the nuts by hand, then a further 1/4 turn. Do not overtighten the bolts or they will crack the cap/cap.

Step 5: Close the tailgate and rear window. Take a water hose and spray on the lid/cap to make sure the seal is tight and not leaking. If there are any leaks, you need to check the tightness of the bolts and check the seal to make sure it doesn't kink, creating a gap under the cap/cap.
