How to set up speakerphone in a 2010 Lincoln MKZ

Most states make it illegal to drive while on a cell phone, but this can be easily fixed with a speakerphone. If your mobile phone is equipped with Bluetooth, you can sync it directly to your 2010 Lincoln MKZ using Ford SYNC. This video shows you how to connect your phone in a car. Now you will have more hands for coffee, cigarettes and donuts.

1) Turn on the car.

2) Press the "media" button on the steering wheel.

3) Wait for the audio command prompt.

4) Say "phone" clearly.

5) If your phone is not set up yet, the SYNC system will reply "Bluetooth device not found, follow the device's instructions to pair the device". The dashboard screen will say "phone not paired" followed by "add bluetooth device".

6) Click OK on the dashboard. Press OK to start pairing your device.

7) Click OK again. Sync will say "Find sync" on your device and enter the pin provided by sync.

8) Make sure your device supports sync. Visit Ford SYNC for more information.

9) Enter the SYNC pin code into your device.

10) Click OK.

11) DONE!
