How "Navigation on Autopilot" works in Tesla Model 3 [manufacturer's video] • ELECTRIC CARS

Tesla has released a video showing how the Navigation on Autopilot feature, which is present in the 9th version of the Tesla Model 3 software, works. They are located at the entrances and exits.

Note: the film was made by the producer, so there are no failures and shortcomings, everything works as it should (source). In addition, it can be seen that the driver keeps his hands on the steering wheel at all times - he actively controls the car when they are on top and passively watches the ride when hands are down.

Tesla probably didn't want to offer anything to drivers, because in ordinary life, hands would rather rest on the driver's hips.

> Tesla Software v9 is already in Poland - our readers are getting the update!

How to start navigation on autopilot? When calculating a route, press the button with this inscription on the screen (picture above), and while driving, pull the lever on the right twice. Then it will automatically turn on Auto control (the car starts to turn itself) i Traffic controlled cruise control (Tesla will adjust its speed according to traffic.)

In the video, the car is seen entering the expressway without turning on the turn signal, but when changing lanes at the intersection, the turn signal turns on - this is done by a person confirming the change of direction. This feature will notify you that the Autopilot Navigation feature will soon stop working. Then the man can take control of the car.
