How to clean a garden pool? 

One of the main devices that allow you to remove surface dirt are a brush and a telescopic handle. When choosing the brush itself, pay attention to the diameter of the telescopic rod you have. However, the best solution would be to buy both items in a set.

When attempting to manually clean a garden pool, it is worth having a skimmer (i.e. a device that catches larger debris and works directly with a water pump), the aforementioned brush and telescopic rod, and a vacuum cleaner for the bottom of the pool with a hose. For maximum cleaning convenience, it is recommended to invest in a comprehensive kit that includes all these elements. In addition, it is a more economical solution than buying the necessary items separately.

Products containing ascorbic acid and lowering the pH of the water are suitable for removing sediment. In an alkaline environment, algae develop much faster. Changing the pH to more acidic will slow or even stop their growth. Of course, you should first measure the pH of the water with a tester.

In some cases, water does not require a decrease, but an increase in pH, which can also be helped by properly selected detergents.

Pool chemicals are available and effective, but they don't always work. Often, chlorine, the most common disinfectant ingredient, causes sensitivity and irritation to the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. For example, people with atopic dermatitis should not swim in chlorinated water. However, it is possible to find filter devices on the market that are very effective in removing contaminants without the use of chemicals, such as sand pumps. They use quartz sand, which effectively absorbs dirt particles.  

You can dose pool chemicals yourself or use automatic dosing systems. For its use, for example, the already mentioned skimmer or float dispenser is useful.

How to keep pool water clean? 

Maintaining the purity of the water in the pool is important not only for aesthetics, but also for the hygiene and health of people using such facilities. In an improperly cleaned pool, unhealthy algae, microorganisms and fungi can grow. Lack of regular cleaning can also lead to bad odors.
