You can find out about the expiration date of a particular cosmetic product from its packaging, on which - in accordance with the European Union Directive of 2003 on the labeling of packaging of a cosmetic product - each manufacturer is required to provide information about the expiration date of a cosmetic product. cosmetics. It can be a PAO symbol (the period of time after opening - "expiration date after opening”) or the symbol Exp (Expiration date - "best before date").

The PAO symbol represents an open jar of cream, and the expiration date of a cosmetic product can be defined in months (for example, 6M - ang. "6 months"), or in years (for example, 2Y - English.
