A chemical reaction begins, which works very well with rust. Usually a day is enough for even a neglected corrosion to let go of the part. Finish the job with a wrench. But such a method is only valid if the reason is that the nut is firmly stuck and / or rusted, and if it was simply overtightened, neglecting the required tightening torque (so that “for sure”), then you only need to screw it.

The physical effort to twist the hub should be moderate.
