How to Prepare for the All-State Written Driving Test

Most drivers need to obtain a driver's license before they are allowed to obtain a standard driver's license. A driver's license (also known as a learner's license) helps drivers learn how to drive safely by protecting them from dangerous situations during their first months as a driver. With a permit, drivers are often restricted as to what time of day they can drive and who can be in the car with them. After a certain amount of time and mileage, a person is eligible to apply for a regular driver's license.

To obtain a driver's license, you must pass a written driving test. This test looks at the basic rules of the road to make sure the driver understands all the laws and regulations before getting behind the wheel. If you pass the test, you will receive a driver's license and be able to start driving immediately (provided you comply with the restrictions on your driver's license).

Each state has slightly different written driving test procedures because each state has its own traffic rules and different safety tips for drivers. In addition to these differences in laws, states differ in the resources they have for drivers to study the written test. There are many ways to prepare for the written driver's exam, from department or department of motor vehicles brochures to online practice tests, you just need to make sure you know how to prepare for the exam in your state.
