Technology and work sequence
"Tsinkar" will not give an effect if the composition is applied to an unprepared surface, it is also useless in the case when there is no more pure metal under the rust layer. In other cases, the following sequence should be followed:
- Carefully remove all remnants of the old paint, varnish and other coatings.
- Use a brush or spray to treat the surface, then allow it to dry.
- Rinse off the transducer using a stiff brush, remove the product residues with a rag.
- Repeat the transitions until the slightest traces of rust are visually noticed. Then the surface can be primed and painted.
Safety requirements
"Tsincar" contains aggressive chemicals, so when handling the product, be sure to work in gloves made of petrol-resistant rubber. If the transducer is purchased in a pressurized container, it is not superfluous to use protective glasses: even with a quick eye wash, the risk of contamination and inflammation of the cornea is not excluded.
With extreme caution, "Tsinkar" is used at elevated air temperatures - the product is toxic, and in contact with heated above 400With the air begins to evaporate, causing irritation of the upper respiratory tract. For the same reasons, you should not use lamps with an open heating element to illuminate.

- Do not leave the slightest rust stains on the surface prepared for processing.
- Do not apply the product on a damp surface (and at high humidity).
- Do not exceed the coating thickness recommended by the manufacturer.
- Use an aqueous solution of caustic soda to flush the dried transducer.
How to avoid possible failures?
The motorist used Tsinkar, and the rust soon reappeared. You should not blame the tool for inefficiency, perhaps you just didn’t read the instructions very carefully on how to use Zinkar before painting a car. In addition, there are some subtleties:
- The uniformity of the spray jet is achieved only when the can is located at a distance of 150…200 mm from the surface.
- The can of Zinkar should be shaken evenly before use.
- When using a brush, it should be pressed strongly against the metal being processed.
- For repeated use, the surface is treated even more carefully.
The optimal multiplicity of processing is 2 ... 3 (experts say that after three times the surface resistance to rust increases).
