How to use the mini pipe bender?
Content
Step 1 - Check the sizeWhen using a mini or micro pipe bender, it is important that your pipe dimensions match one of the three previous pipe bender sizes.
Step 2 - Insert the pipeOpen the tube bender handles and insert the tube into the correct size shaper.
Step 3 - Fix the pipeAttach a clamp to the end of the pipe to hold it in place and pull the top handle down slightly to lock the pipe in place. If the expected angle is greater than 90°, such as 135°, align the pipe marked R. If the expected angle is less than 90°, such as 45°, align the pipe marked L.
Step 4 - Bend the PipePull the handle towards the second handle, slowly bending the pipe around the first one until the 0 mark on the guide reaches the desired angle. Pull only at the angle necessary to keep the pipe resilient.
Step 5 - Remove the PipeOpen the handles and pull the tube out of the bender.
Step 6 - Further bending if necessaryIf the pipe requires further bending (for example, when creating a saddle bend), repeat the process from step 1. |
