How to use a hand vise?

	Although there are several different types of hand vise, they all use the same. Here are a few simple steps explaining how to use a vise.
	Step 1 - Open the vise Make sure the vise jaws are open wide enough to fit into the workpiece. To open the vise jaws wider, simply turn the wing nut counterclockwise. For a vise with a hollow handle, turn the handle counterclockwise instead.
	Step 2 - Place the workpiece Insert the workpiece between the jaws in the optimum position.
	Step 3 - Close the vise Turn the wing nut (or handle for a hollow-handled vise) clockwise to tighten the screw and close the jaws of the vise.
	Now your workpiece is securely fixed and ready to go.
	Step 4 - Place the vise The vise can be held in one hand while working on the object with the other hand.
	Alternatively, a hand vise can also be mounted in a bench vise to hold items in place, leaving both hands free for the task.
