How to use a ratchet pipe bender?

Step 1 - Attach the ShaperAttach the correct size shaper to the ratchet pipe bender. To do this, insert the template into the top of the ratchet handle and screw it into place. | |
Step 2 - Adjust the Side BlocksRotate the side blocks until the correct size matches the frame and pipe. Adjust the side blocks by turning the wheel on the back of the side blocks to match the angle you want to make. The corner marks, on which the side blocks are mounted, are located along the rod to which they are attached. | |
Step 3 - Install the old onePress the first one all the way so that it is next to the trigger handle. | |
Step 4 - Insert the pipePlace the pipe under the side blocks so that it fits into the slots in the side blocks. You will need to hold the end of the pipe with one hand while bending. | |
Step 5 - Make a CurveHolding the pipe in one hand and the ratchet bender handle in the other, pull the ratchet trigger to move the bender up. Hold the tube steady while the shaper presses on it and on the side blocks, creating a bend. | |
Step 6 - Remove the PipeOnce the tube is bent, release the ratchet and press lightly on the mold so you can pull the tube out. |
