- Connect by means of the red wire "+" of the charged and "+" of the discharged battery.

- do not allow the connection of one wire to terminals of different polarity on two batteries;
- exclude contact between clamps on the black and red cables;
- never light a broken car with obvious signs of faulty wiring;
- start the donor motor while the engine of the second car is running, if their batteries are connected by wires;
- if possible, avoid lighting at low temperatures.
It should be remembered that as a result of lighting the donor's battery, it will partially or completely discharge. For this reason, if it is not sufficiently charged, then after the help of the second car it will no longer be possible to start.
