You can only commute to and from work in Kentucky in a vehicle that you are authorized to drive on a daily basis. Take advantage of the online update system
To use the online system, you must meet certain criteria. Here are the things you will need to use this system:
- Your current address is on file with the county clerk.
- You own a vehicle
- There are no unpaid vehicle taxes.
- Your current registration is on file with the county clerk
If you meet these criteria, here's how you'll need to renew:
- Go to the Vehicle Licensing System website
- Enter your vehicle number
- Insert title number

- Pay the fees you owe
Conducting the process in person
If you wish, you can personally go through the registration renewal process. To do this, you need to apply to your local DMV with the following items:
