How to check the engine oil level?

Step 1. Let the engine cool down

Step 3: Replace the dipstick

Step 4: observe the pressure gauge

Wait a few seconds, then remove the dipstick from the reservoir again. Check the dipstick to see what level the oil has reached. There are two indications on the rod: min. And max. If the oil level is below the minimum, add oil. If the level is slightly below the maximum mark, everything is fine!

Good to know : also look at the quality of the oil on the stock. The engine oil must be clean and viscous. If you find debris in the engine oil, a drain is required.

Step 5: add oil

If you just realized that the engine oil level is below the minimum, you will need to top up the oil. To do this, open the tank, add oil gradually, then check the level with the dipstick until the maximum level is reached.

Technical advice : Do not put too much butter, it is not good. Pay close attention to the level indicated on the dipstick. Be sure to use the oil recommended by your vehicle manufacturer.
